The Master has an overall duration of ten months, split as follows
• 23 weeks of classroom didactic activity
• 2 weeks of cultural exchange with foreign universities
• 14 weeks of internship in a company or an agency
• 1 week for the final interview and project presentation
Lessons take place in Venice every day from Monday to Friday from 9.00 a.m. to 4.30 p.m.
Attendance is compulsory. Lessons are taught in Italian and English.

In order to improve and test the skills learned during the lectures, students are assigned specific projects. (launch of new products, market research, advertising campaigns analysis, web sites analysis, etc.) or in the development of projects commissioned by selected companies which give the students the opportunity to compete as agencies. In the last two years the companies involved in such projects were Arzanà Navi, 55 DSL (Diesel Group), Coca-Cola Company, Dainese and the Nielsen Company
The Master also organizes a Marketing Business Game.
Students will be given the opportunity to visit best practice companies together with teachers and managers.
The Master runs an International Exchange Program with the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow and the Zhejiang University, China. In addition the program includes a session of Italian Style Marketing with the aim to provide skills in the management and strategic planning of industries in which Italy plays a leading role at international level.
To conclude this learning process there will be a stage that will take place in companies or communication agencies that develop strategies, marketing actions and international communication. This internship could be made in Italy or abroad.
The Master in International Marketing and Communication gives students up to 60 educational credits which can contribute to the total amount of credits required for a specialization degree in Marketing and Communication at the Ca’ Foscari University. The credits, can be required after passing an exam and can also be recognized by the Academic Boards of Laurea Magistrale courses in other Universities in accordance to their regulations.
